Kurdistan Teachers' Union Delegation Carries Out a Series of Activities in the Badinan Region

Today, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, a delegation from the Secretariat Office of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, together with the Duhok branch, visited Branch (20) of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Sheikhan. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Saleh Haidar, head of the branch, along with members of the branch's administrative committee. Both sides discussed a number of shared topics and emphasized developing cooperation and coordination between them. At the end of the meeting, steps toward establishing a Teachers' Union headquarters within the Sheikhan district were discussed, and all parties expressed their support for this step.
Also on July 28, 2026, a delegation from the Secretariat Office of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, together with the Duhok branch, visited Complex (4) in Duhok. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Diwali Ramadan, head of the complex, along with his deputy and members of the administrative committee. Discussions covered a number of educational topics, highlighting the importance of teachers' role in developing the educational process, with emphasis on strengthening coordination and defending teachers' rights and interests.
On the same day, a delegation from the Kurdistan Teachers' Union Secretariat Office, accompanied by the Duhok branch, visited the Duhok General Directorate of Education, where they were warmly received by Mr. Segvan Hassan Ali, Acting Director General of Duhok Education. The meeting addressed the state of education, teachers' problems and needs, and ways to strengthen cooperation, with both sides stressing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination.
In addition, a delegation from the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, accompanied by the head of the Duhok branch, visited the Zakho branch of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, aiming to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two branches and set a joint program for upcoming activities, along with extending congratulations on the launch of the Zakho branch's operations. On the sidelines of the visit, a joint meeting was held with the Director General of Zakho Education, during which all parties emphasized the continuation of cooperation and harmony.
Finally, a delegation from the Secretariat Office of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, together with the Duhok branch, visited the Directorates of Education in Sheikhan and Tal Kayf, to congratulate Mr. Farhad on assuming the position of Director of Sheikhan Education, and Mr. Zuhair Bibo on assuming the position of Director of Tal Kayf Education. The meetings covered a range of important educational topics, teachers' living conditions, and improving cooperation between the union and the education directorates.
