Statement Issued by the Kurdistan Teachers Union on the Attacks Against Peshmerga Forces

The Kurdistan Teachers Union strongly condemns the attacks targeting the Peshmerga forces. Earlier today, a hostile attack was carried out against Peshmerga positions in the Kurdistan Region, resulting in the martyrdom of 6 heroic Peshmerga members and the injury of 30 others.

On this painful occasion, we extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the martyrs, and we wish a swift recovery to the wounded.

We call on the Kurdistan Regional Government to take all necessary measures to confront these hostile acts targeting the Region. We also urge the federal government and the international community to put an end to such aggressive attacks.
