Vice President of Global Peace Foundation Visits Historic Erbil Citadel

Erbil - Mr. Tony Devine, Vice President of the Global Peace Foundation, made an official visit to the historic Erbil Citadel.
The visit was attended by Mr. Ahmed Garmiany, head of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, and Ms. Lawlaw Dezayee, a member of the Union's Erbil branch.
During the visit, Mr. Falah Hassan, Director of Citadel Renovation, welcomed the distinguished guest and attendees and provided full details about the Citadel.
While touring the historic areas and ancient sites of the Citadel, Mr. Hassan discussed the most important historical and cultural stages of this ancient place, which is considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening cultural and historical ties and introducing Kurdistan's human heritage to the world.
