Participation of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union in the Third General Conference of the Arab Organization for Education

On July 20, 2025, a delegation from the Kurdistan Teachers' Union will participate in the Third General Conference of the Arab Organization for Education, held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The delegation is headed by Mr. Ahmed Saber, President of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union – Iraq, and includes Mr. Mohammed Sorani, Deputy Head of the Akre Branch of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union, along with a number of specialists in the educational

field and union organizers.

The conference will last for three days and holds particular importance in terms of:

• Representing the Kurdistan Region at the regional level in the field of education;

• Strengthening relationships with educational organizations in Arab countries;

• Exchanging experiences and best practices in the field of education;

• Contributing to the development of future plans for education in the region.

It is worth noting that this conference represents an important opportunity for the Kurdistan Teachers' Union to highlight the region’s role in developing education in the area and to take part in shaping a comprehensive regional educational strategy.
